Yes, it does have access to it,” Mr. Trump replied, “Because we’re allowing it, it’s facilitated access, not a breach in security.

A post from July appeared, saying, “Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool.” In September, another post on the platform X noted, “You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity, let’s promote hatred against Indians.” CBS News has not verified the authenticity of the account or the posts. The Journal reported that the individual declined to comment on multiple requests.

In response to a recent poll on X, they said regarding Elez’s employment, “I may not agree with some of his posts, but I don’t think social media mistakes should end a young person’s career. We shouldn’t be rewarding journalists who are trying to harm someone. In that case, I think we should bring him back. If he’s genuinely unqualified or a problematic co-worker, fire him for that reason.”

This approach ensures that nobody is negatively impacted,” he noted, “So it’s a win-win, unlike the original proposal which would have imposed a blanket tariff on everyone.

This would be considered a strategic investment, rather than an outright purchase.

They’re planning to invest greatly in U.S. Steel, not take over the company, and that’s really encouraging,” the president said. “Next week, I’ll be meeting with the head of Nissan, a leading Japanese automaker, to hammer out the specifics.
