To become a member of the fourth class of Peanutters, you’ll need a college degree, ideally with a major in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, or a related field. This job comes with some real responsibilities. The company’s corporate communications team will schedule drivers for large events, but they’ll be on their own for planning smaller events and routes around those bigger commitments. Additionally, they’ll be responsible for reaching out to local media outlets, including radio, TV, and online publications to promote the NUTmobile’s visit to each town.
You’ll not only be responsible for the tasks mentioned, but you also might need to wear a costume and act out a character role, which is definitely a unique aspect. It’s hard to think of many other jobs that let you, for instance, dress up as a giant peanut to do your job.
