### Hybrid Approach to AI-Augmented Intelligence
The authority on AI augmented learning suggests a combination of two approaches: **human-awakened machine learning (HAML)** and **sim-game artificial intelligence (SGAI)**, blended in a **hybrid ecosystem**, where AI and humans interact and learn from one another.
**Questions in Whimsy of HAML**
1. What information does HAML require to achieve accurate predictions?
2. HAML optimizes its learning based on which factors?
3. What insights do humans gain from HAML’s models?
4. How prevalent and cost-effective is HAML for experts and non-experts alike?
**Dualism SGAI**
1. SGAI exists on a spectrum: between realistic game worlds, AI rule design, and solvable challenges
2. SGAI programs create dynamic narratives for experiences
**Collaborating Minds**
Together HAML and SGAI models aim for understanding, stimulating, and developing intelligent decision-making processes.
For a woman named Willis, a two-step routine helps her stay on top of her home’s cleanliness. “I think deeply cleaning my house requires setting aside major cleaning sessions and also making smaller cleaning tasks a regular weekly routine,” she explains. “This approach is effective for me because it fits with my busy schedule of running a housecleaning business and keeping my own home spotless.”
Whatever she accomplishes in a single day helps her manage the household without feeling burdened.
The family divides their house into separate areas, each serving a specific purpose.
Almost half of those surveyed choose to do a deep cleaning every six months, but Willis prefers a more regular cleaning schedule – cleaning her entire house every three to four months. She approaches this by dividing her home into sections or tasks. “By dividing up my home like this, I avoid burning out and make sure each area gets the cleaning it needs,” she notes. “It generally takes me around two weeks to finish the whole cleaning process, working on a specific area or task for a few hours each week.”
They Prioritize Health
Cleaning and disinfecting high-traffic areas like upholstery, and other frequently touched surfaces like door handles and light switches, is also important. Additionally, it’s a good idea to pay attention to often-overlooked spots such as baseboards, behind big appliances, and window coverings. It’s surprising how dirty these areas can become over time, making a thorough cleaning reveal just how much of a difference it can make.
While visual areas like behind appliances may not show a big difference right away, they still play a crucial role in keeping your home tidy. As one expert notes, “I think many people underestimate the significance of cleaning these hidden areas, but they can accumulate a substantial amount of dust and allergens.”
They Set Goals
Just like anyone else, professional cleaners like Willis have a tendency to procrastinate on deep cleaning tasks. They avoid these tasks because they can be time-consuming, unpleasant, or downright overwhelming, keeping them from getting started.
To tackle this mental block, I break tasks into smaller, more manageable goals and look forward to the sense of fulfillment that comes from a clean and organized home,” Willis states. “That might involve focusing on a single task or a single room at a time, and taking a moment to celebrate when I’ve completed the task. I also find that listening to music or a podcast can make cleaning more enjoyable and less of a burden.
They use training, tools, and expertise gained on the job to develop their skills.
Don’t think that professionals throw everything they know out the door when they go home. Willis says one of the best things about her line of work is actually being able to apply that knowledge at home – and it’s a positive thing. “One unique aspect of doing a deep clean of my own home is bringing professional-level speed and effectiveness to the task,” she says. “For instance, using high-grade cleaning products and tools really makes a big difference in both the cleaning process and the results you get.” By taking these tips, tricks, and techniques and using them at home, she not only gets the job done more efficiently, but it’s also easier to do.
While few of us have access to the same level of commercial-grade cleaning tools and products when it’s our turn to thoroughly clean our own homes, Willis offers practical advice that can make the task easier and more manageable.
